Abstract

This research aims to know the perception of elementary school students toward corruption. The
population of this research is the entire students SDN 009 Rambah Samo. Purposive sampling
used in this research. Researchers took samples of students of SDN 009 Rambah Samo grade 4, 5,
and 6 the overall amounts 50 students. Data collection was done through administering the now
by using the Guttman scale. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that
of the total sample of 50 students, and corruption perceptions statement amounted to 15, obtained
a score of at least 8 and scored a maximum of 15. The student's perception of the changed data
from the score into value so obtained the highest value that is 100 and the lowest value of 20.
Upon tabular interval percentage level of perception of students, obtained mean value perception
of SDN 009 Rambah Samo was 72. The value entered on the qualification enough. In the
meantime, based on an analysis of the perceptions of students on each indicator, the highest
percentage obtained 74% false evidence. This means that the students understand that false
evidence is one form of corruption. While there is the lowest indicators is gratification that value
is 32%. This means that 68% of students not understand the forms of gratification that are an act
of corruption. So, the overall perception of SDN 009 Rambah Samo toward corruption belonged
to enough. Therefore, it needs to be given an understanding of the scope of corruption and anticorruption education by various relevant parties.
