PENGARUH INISIASI MENYUSUI DINI DENGAN KECEPATAN KELUARNYA ASI PADA IBU BERSALIN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SITIUNG 1 KABUPATEN DHARMASRAYA

Abstract

Early breastfeeding initiation or early onset of breastfeeding is that infants start feeding themselves
soon after birth.The goal is to know the relationship of Early Breastfeeding Initiation With Speed of
Breastfeeding Out In Maternity Mother.This research method uses analytic survey type with cross sectional
design. The population in this study were all maternal mothers in Puskesmas Sitiung 1 Kabupaten
Dharmasraya as many as 31 people with sampling technique in total population. The results of the study
found an association between early breastfeeding initiation and the rate at which breast milk was
discharged.The result of statistical test using chi square test and obtained p value = 0,004 <0, 05. The
conclusion of this research is there is a significant correlation between early breastfeeding initiation with the
speed of breast milk discharge in maternal mother in work area of health clinic sitiung 1 dharmasraya district.
Therefore early initiation of breastfeeding should be applied because the benefits are very important for the
mother and the baby's survival.
