Abstract

The indicators of grammatical errors were errors in tense, errors in preposition, and errors in
Punctuation. This article aimed to find out Grammatical error on thesis conclusion. It was analyzed through
descriptive qualitative research. Samples of this research were 75 thesis conclusions of undergraduated
students in 2015-2018. Finding showed there were 338 errors in tense, 37 errors in preposition, and 42 errors
in punctuation. Grammatical errors on thesis conclusion were caused by weakness in ability of writing essay,
overgeneralization, carelessness and communication strategy. The conclusion was almost all of
undergraduated students did error in all of indicators and the most errors was in tense.
