Ahmad Yani Street is one of the CBD that has a land use function as a mixed area. The existence of the
mixed land use activity caused considerable production and attraction, thus causing the emergence of traffic
problems. This study aims to identify the performance of road segments and the effect of land use on the
production and attraction of vehicle movement in Ahmad Yani street. Research methods isused quantitative
approach which is assisted by descriptive method as its analysis tool. The results obtained are : 1). Ahmad
Yani street has a large road capacity of 2,039.59 pmu/hour, 2). The volume of traffic flow for two hours in a
day is 574 units of passenger cars and average daily traffic is 1,977 pmu/hour, 3) The amount of attraction
and rise is 3245 pmu/hour with the most movement in the region trade and services amounted to 1471
psu/hour and the lowest of 157 pmu/hour, 4). Production and attraction movements of the correlation output,
it is found that the relationship between the variable number of movements with the theoretically very strong
land area is shown by the correlation coefficient of 1 with the percentage of influence of 94.6%.
