them were used as the samples, using total sampling technique. Of 55 respondents, five respondents (9.1%)
had good knowledge, 24 respondents (43.6%) had moderate knowledge, and 26 respondents (47.3%) had bad
knowledge. Based on the result of chi square test, it was found that there was the correlation between
teenagers’ knowledge the transmission of HIV/AIDS at α = 0.1 and df = 1, the result of the computation was
obtained based on the significance value < 0.05 which indicated that Hon was rejected and if the significance
value > 0.05, it indicated that Ho was accepted; since the significance value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), Ho was
rejected which indicated that there was the correlation between teenagers’ knowledge and the transmission of
HV/AIDS. The research is expected to be the means to increase knowledge and information to teenagers
