This research is associated with structure of floor plate system which often in building
construction activity. The structure of floor plate system is a beam-column system and flat slabdrop panel system. With a typical same floor plan, the structure is divided into two models, namely
Model A (existing condition) and Model B (flat slab-drop panel system). Both models are placed in
the area of Pekanbaru City with the function of building as a hotel. Seismic analysis uses dynamic
analysis with the finite element softwere that refers to Earthquake Resistance Planning Procedure
for Building SNI 1726-2012.
The result of structural analysis is the form of displacement value, shear force and stiffness
level structure. Model B has a good response to the seismic forces. Model B uses a flat slab-drop
panel system on each floor. While the Model A System used between the flat slab-drop panel with
beam-column contruction (existing condition).
